Message From Principal’s Desk

Principal of Lyceum schoolThe school believes in the Socratic philosophy that “Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel”. As the principal of this school, I feel honored and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone learns including our teachers, parents, and staff.
Welcome to the website of Lyceum a co-educational school which will be affiliated to CBSE. Our six years old school functions with a strength of 800 students who get trained to be spiritually disposed, morally right emotionally balanced and physically fit. Our strength is our team of staff including teaching and non-teaching, who leave no stone unturned to make our students intellectually sharp and also strive hard to give shape to our future generation, through holistic education.
The school aims to develop in our students the ability to think beyond the boundaries of the classroom, the various Forums of activities designed by the school, would open before the students a blissful world of creative effervescence in the path towards knowledge and enlightenment. The school respects the individual talents of each and every student. All celebrations and competitions are given due importance along with academic performance. We envisage the development of the personality and character of the student to help him/her grow as a person.
We realize that choosing the right school for your children is one of the most critical decisions that you as parents, will ever have to make. Children, we understand and believe in their infinite potential. In Lyceum we are convinced that these children are our future and that they can be groomed to be competent compassionate global citizens, but most of all, our lodestar is your infinite love for the children in our care.
I encourage you to take some time to explore our website and read more about our history, our philosophy, our programs, and our vision. I hope that once you do so, you will feel the same as I do, that the lyceum school sees each student as a unique individual with great potential.

Message From Director’s Desk

Lyceum as the name epitomizes the centre of knowledge and wisdom, the Lyceum school at Zahirabad affirms its dedication to impart quality education. Mahatma Gandhi wrote, “The aim of education is character building”.  Aligning with such noble thoughts, Lyceum school has carved out a holistic system of education that would invariably give impetus to evolve an enlightened society.

We live in a world of war and violence. Children are easily susceptible to many wrongdoings. But we believe that one wrong cannot be corrected with much greater wrong. Therefore, instead, of coercive measures, comprehensive and creative learning methods are imperative for establishing noble, novel, and righteous student communities. We wholeheartedly take up the task and dedicate ourselves to explore the multiple ways of learning and teaching. Gone are the days when knowledge was the monopoly of the pedagogues; but today the world has changed a lot and now everything is on fingertips. The new generation is armed with gadgets that are waiting to get a command from the receiver and pour information in copious. We are at the forefront of this knowledge challenge.’

In this world of competitions, we are proud to be the torchbearers of profound knowledge, wisdom, artistic expressions, adherence to the virtues, nurturing talents, acquiring physical fitness, physical well being, cultural enrichments, promoting scientific temper and soon and so forth.

The relentless efforts for quality improvements and infrastructure facilities empower us to reach out to the most deserved ones in society.

We are deeply indebted to the magnanimity of many noble minds to keep our performance graph constantly touching the heights. It is hereby on record that without the timely help and encouragement of parents and officials belonging to the various strata of society, we would not have been able to build a brand ‘Lyceum school’ in Zahirabad. We do admit there is a long road to pass and miles to go to fulfill the dreams of our ‘dear ones’ of Lyceum. Yes, …we are in progress, we are on the run….refashioning, refining, rebuilding and rejuvenating every moment; because Nature is the best notebook and experience is the best teacher….

Thankyou all for being with us……                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Director
